Legal notice

Who runs hosted.art, where it is hosted, what happens to your data, and the terms of sale of the paid plans.

Publisher

hosted.art is published by François Palamara, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, micro-entreprise).

Hosting

OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. Phone: +33 9 72 10 10 07. ovhcloud.com

Intellectual property

The Hosted name and logo, the texts and the design of this site belong to the publisher. Artwork, music and artist names belong to their respective rights holders. Any reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

This site links to other sites (YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram, Beatport and others). We are not responsible for their content.

Privacy

The data controller is the publisher named above. We collect as little as possible and never sell or share your data for advertising.

Browsing this site

hosted.art sets no cookie and uses no advertising trackers. Like any web server, ours logs technical data (IP address, page requested, date) for security. These logs are deleted after 14 days.

Audience measurement

We count visits with GoatCounter, an open source tool that sets no cookie and keeps no personal identifier. It does not follow you from one site to another. We only see totals: pages viewed, the site a visit came from, country, language, browser, system and screen width. To avoid counting the same visit twice, GoatCounter keeps your IP address and browser name in memory for up to 8 hours; it never writes them to its database.

The same measurement runs on artist pages (yourname.hosted.art), with the same guarantees: we count the page viewed and the site the visit came from, as totals, never who visited.

Short links

Artists make short links with our Short tool (hosted.art/ followed by five characters). When you open one, we count the click, by day and by the site or app it came from, then send you to the address the artist chose. We set no cookie and we keep neither your IP address nor any detail about your browser: only totals.

Authorization form (Hosted Radio)

When a label fills in the authorization form, we record the label name, contact name, email, role, distributor, the tracks concerned, the name of the signer, and the IP address and date of submission as proof of the authorization.

We use this data only to broadcast the music on Hosted Radio and to manage YouTube Content ID. Legal basis: the agreement you give us. We keep it while the authorization is in force, then 5 years after it ends (French limitation period).

Track votes (Hosted Radio)

On the home page you can say whether you like the track playing on the radio. To remember your vote, your browser keeps a random voter ID (hosted-voter, stored on your device, not a cookie). We record the vote with this ID and your IP address, only to prevent cheating. Vote totals are never shown publicly. Votes are deleted when the track is removed from the radio.

On the Radio page you can also say how a transition between two tracks sounded. It works the same way, with the same voter ID. After 24 hours we erase the voter ID and the IP address from that vote. The thumbs up or down itself is kept, with no link to you, to improve how the radio mixes.

Emails and demos

When you email us, for example to send music, we keep your message only as long as needed to answer and follow up.

Hosted account

The site header asks pages.hosted.art whether you are signed in, to show your name. The sign-in cookie belongs to pages.hosted.art and only exists if you created a Hosted account. Your account data is handled by Hosted Pages and Spin under the same controller.

When you create an artist page, we ask for your email address and your city. When you subscribe to an artist's newsletter on their page, we record your email address and your city. The artist can see them, to send you their news and to know where their fans are. Write to us or to the artist to be removed from a list.

The Hosted app

The Hosted app (iPhone and Android) is the same account as on the web. It handles what you choose to put in it: your email address to sign in, the photos, videos, audio files and documents you add to your page or to your tools, your dates, your travel details and tickets, and the visit counts of your page. Photos and files are sent only when you pick them; the app asks your permission before reading your photo library, your camera or your files, and uses them for nothing else.

The app contains no advertising and no third-party tracker, and it does not follow you across other apps or sites. Your data is stored on our servers in France and is never sold.

Third parties

Deleting your account

You can delete your Hosted account and everything in it at any time, by yourself:

Your account, your page and everything on it (photos, videos, files, dates, fan list) are removed right away and your address is released. What you made in the other Hosted tools (drops, promos, gig sheets) can be deleted in each tool before you leave; if you write to us, we remove it for you within 30 days. If you cannot sign in, write to arthosted@gmail.com from the email address of the account and we delete it within 30 days. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first in your Studio (Account, Manage my plan), or tell us in your message. We only keep what the law requires, such as invoices.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask for a copy, by writing to arthosted@gmail.com. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Help and contact

A question, a problem with the site or the app, a payment to sort out? Write to arthosted@gmail.com. A person answers, usually within two working days. Tell us the address of your page and what you were doing when it went wrong.

Terms of sale

These terms apply to the paid plans of Hosted (Page and Pro), bought from your Studio. By subscribing, you accept them.

Who sells

The plans are sold by Hosted, published by François Palamara (see Publisher above). Your card is charged through Stripe, our payment provider; we never see your card number. Your receipt comes from Hosted.

Plans and prices

Page: 2.99 € a month, or 24.90 € a year. Pro: 7.99 € a month, or 69 € a year. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code: the price shown is the price you pay. What each plan includes is shown in your Studio, under Account, before you pay.

If a price changes, we tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal. You can cancel before it applies.

Subscription and renewal

Your plan starts as soon as the payment goes through. It renews by itself every month, or every year for the yearly plan, until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails, the plan stops at the end of the period already paid and your account goes back to the free plan. Your page and your content stay online.

Cancelling

You can cancel whenever you want, in your Studio: Account, then Manage my plan. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. A period that has started is not refunded, except in the cases below.

Changing your mind

The law gives you 14 days to change your mind after buying online. Your plan starts the moment you pay, so before paying you tick a box: you ask for your plan to start right away, and you accept that you lose this right once it has started. This is why a plan that has started is not refunded. It changes nothing to your rights if something goes wrong on our side: a payment taken twice, a technical fault, or a service that does not work. In those cases write to arthosted@gmail.com and we refund you.

The service

We do our best to keep Hosted online and working, but we cannot promise it will never stop: there can be maintenance or breakdowns. If the service you paid for is unavailable for a long time because of us, write to us and we will refund the time lost. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Your content

What you put on Hosted stays yours. You confirm that you have the right to publish it. We can remove content that breaks the law or someone else's rights, and close an account that keeps doing so; in that case the time left on a paid plan is refunded.

Law and disputes

These terms follow French law. If something goes wrong, write to us first: we answer and look for a solution. If you are a consumer living in the European Union and we do not agree, you can turn to a consumer mediator free of charge; ask us and we will give you the contact details. You can also go to the court of your place of residence.

Terms of sale in force since 5 October 2026.
