We ran labels. We sent every promo to 500 addresses and read almost nothing back. Pool does the opposite: the label offers the promo, the artist writes to a short list of DJs who know the music, and each of them answers.

What they said, in full.

  • A rating and a few words open the download, in WAV or MP3.
  • Not for them? One tap: an honest no is an answer too.
  • Each answer with the name of who gave it, promo by promo.
  • Gone after the release: a promo closes on release day and its files are deleted 30 days later. We chose not to keep promos for years.

  • A filter for the ones who never opened, so you can let them go.
  • Bounced and unsubscribed addresses set aside for you.
  • Your contacts stay yours: export them, or delete them all in one click.

You are a DJ too.

  • Inbox: the promos other artists sent to you.
  • Library: what you rated and kept, with your rating.
  • Remove what is not for you. The sender is not told.
  • Your promo address: anyone can send you music there, no account needed.

Who pays, who sends

The label never sends. The artist does.

Receiving

2.99 € a month

Receiving promos starts with the Page offer: your inbox, where a promo stays until you rate or download it. Hosted Pro (7.99 € a month) keeps them in your library and adds your own promo address and the Pool tab of the app. It is not part of the Free offer. The DJs you write to need no account at all.

Your label offers you a promo for your release. You send it under your own name, with your words, to your own short list.

3 promos a month to offer to your artists. Each artist of a promo also gets the Hosted Page offer for a year. You follow the numbers and read every comment, never the addresses.
